We will be performing a maintenance build Wednesday, March 2nd, 10pm-2am EDT

This build will implement the following changes to 'lite mode':

- Fix for an issue in which preferences were not shown properly
- Improved support for security questions
- Fix for an error message that some users saw in Chrome when composing an email
- Fix for attaching a file to a message being composed

We will be performing a maintenance build Wednesday, January 13th, 10pm-2am EDT

This build will implement the following:

- Back-end architecture improvements to improve memory management, and reduce the load on the application servers.
- A bugfix for BlueTie Calendar which caused a problem for some users when setting events to “Private”
- A bugfix in the “Remove All Aliases” process in Enterprise Manager domain management tools.

Impact: Users may experience brief application slowness during the maintenance window. There is no expected service outage during this maintenance, and BlueTie will be monitoring all systems throughout the duration of this scheduled maintenance.

Duration: up to 4 hours

Description:  This release will address numerous issues and tasks including some customer requested items.

User Interface fixes

  • Updates to support Windows 8 / IE 10
  • Clicking certain messages would return javascript error or invalid XML; these messages now display properly
  • Added foreign character support in preferences

Mailing List fixes

  • Extremely large numbers of mailing lists were failing to load in Enterprise Manager.  Mailing lists can now be viewed.

Email printing

  • Some email messages would print blank or would be the wrong size when printed; these messages now print properly

Hosted Exchange fixes

  • There were issues creating Hybrid Exchange accounts; you can now create Hybrid Exchange accounts without issue.
  • Hosted Exchange toolbar button was not working in IE; this button now launches the Hosted Exchange control panel from IE

Email send fixes

  • Under certain circumstances, pressing the "send" button from the email send dialog would cause the dialog to hang.  These messages now send properly.

#2. BlueTie Archive Pricing Changes | Effective June 1st 2011

Beginning June 1st 2011, the price of our email archive solution will become $6 a month per user. Our dedication to industry leading reliability has forced pricing adjustments necessary to maintain the level of professional service you have come to expect from BlueTie. We look forward to continuing to provide your business with reliable archive functionality at a price that is 33% less than the industry average of $9.

Our hosted archive solution is well integrated with our webmail application, captures all sent and received mail including attachments, and satisfies legal and business retention requirements such as SarbOx, FINRA, HIPAA. In an increasingly virtual world, our archive solution, as you know, can protect businesses like yours from potentially damaging law suits.

Along with this price change, we will be streamlining our email plan offering by discontinuing the BlueTie Archived Email Plan and transitioning those users to our BlueTie Executive Plan with Archive enabled for a new price of $11.99 a month or $129.5 a year.

Please note: All archive activity will be retained during this plan upgrade and users will experience no service disruption.

The build is now complete and all systems are functioning as normal. The final procedure to be performed on our system has been scheduled for this evening, May 28th from 1am-4am EDT. During tonight's procedures, users will experience brief periods of inaccessibility to mail systems, including webmail and POP/IMAP via mail clients such as Outlook and Thunderbird. Network Maintenance - Friday February 12, 2010 - 1:00AM EST - 3:00AM EST

On Friday, February 12, 2010 between 1:00AM EST and 3:00AM EST BlueTie will be performing scheduled network maintenance. We are conducting this maintenance to increase both the performance and availability of our service by increasing bandwidth levels in our New York City environment. Post maintenance, the BlueTie application should run faster and smoother. We do not expect any lengthy service outages during this time, but you may experience a slight lag in the application while we make this update. SSL Certificate Update - Friday, September 25, 2009

On Friday, September 25, 2009 at 1am, BlueTie will be upgrading and renewing our Security Certificates.

Once the SSL Certificates have been updated, users may be required to click "ACCEPT" when prompted to accept the newly installed SSL Certificate (as their browser dictates).
