We're Making Your BlueTie Calendar Even Better!
We have made a number of upgrades to your BlueTie application recently.
BlueTie Calendar Updates
Something you will notice immediately is the increased speed of your BlueTie Calendar.
Your calendar has also changed, making it more user-friendly. High level changes and updates include the following:
Quick Calendar and Shared CalendarThese two calendars are now merged into a single area within your BlueTie Calendar, and appear as tabs. To change your view, simply click on the tab of the calendar you would like to see.Daily, Weekly and Monthly ViewsYour daily, weekly and monthly calendar views will be tabs at the top of your calendar view, rather than buttons. They will also be labeled with text rather than images to make them easier to recognize.Monthly Calendar ViewYou will be able to adjust the size of your monthly calendar view to fit your screen. The new monthly calendar view will scale rather than scroll like the current version. You may notice "X Events" on certain days within your monthly calendar view once the changes have been implemented. "X Events" will indicate that you have more events on the given day that can be listed. The "X" will actually be the number of events that are not shown. You will simply need to click on the link to see all the events listed for that particular day.Custom Date RangeThe new calendar will also allow you to choose a custom date range. You'll simply need to drag through the dates you would like to see on your Quick Calendar. You will then see a new tab pop up in Calendar display. Click on that new tab and your view will only include the dates you've chosen, similar to your daily calendar view.
Additional Updates
We have implemented a number of additional changes as well:
Layout ManagerYou may already know that you can shift pods around within your BlueTie application. Move your inbox to the right side of your screen; shift or collapse the quota bar. Allow for more room to view folders. Make it your own. Well, you will soon have the option to save those changes, so that you don't have to worry about adjusting the layout every time you log into your account.Meeting RequestsYou will also be able to attach files to meeting requests. You will be able to attach files to a new meeting request, so that all applicable documentation is available when you send the notice. You will also have the option of attaching files AFTER a notice has been sent, simply by attaching the files to the event in your calendar...there's no need to send the invitation again. The file will be attached to the event and all recipients will have access to the file.
