POP Setup

Configuring Eudora POP Setup

  1. Click the Special (Tools on a PC) menu and choose Settings
  2. Click the Gettings Started icon in the Options window
  3. Enter either your User Name (jdoe.companyname) or your email address in the Username field
  4. Type pop.bluetie.com in the Mail Server field
  5. Type smtp.bluetie.com in the SMTP Server field
  6. Click the Sending mail icon in the Options window
  7. Check the box for Allow authorization
  8. Click OK

 Configuring Eudora POP3 Setup w/SSL

  1. Click the Special (Tools on a PC) menu and choose Settings
  2. Click the Gettings Started icon in the Options window
  3. Enter either your User Name (jdoe.companyname) or your email address in the Username field
  4. Type pop.bluetie.com in the Mail Server field
  5. Type smtp.bluetie.com in the SMTP Server field
  6. Click the Sending mail icon in the Options window
  7. Check the box for Allow authorization
  8. Click the SSL icon
  9. In the Secure Sockets Layer next to SSL for POP choose Required (TLS) from the drop down 
  10. In the Secure Sockets Layer next to SSL for SMTP choose Required (TLS) from the drop down
  11. Click OK

IMAP Setup

Configuring IMAP Eudora Setup

  1. Click the Special (Tools on a PC) menu and choose Settings
  2. Click the Gettings Started icon in the Options window
  3. Enter either your User Name (jdoe.companyname) or your email address in the Username field
  4. Type imap.bluetie.com in the Mail Server field
  5. Type smtp.bluetie.com in the SMTP Server field
  6. Click the Sending mail icon in the Options window
  7. Check the box for Allow authorization
  8. Click OK.

Configuring IMAP for Eudora Setup w/SSL

  1. Click the Special (Tools on a PC) menu and choose Settings
  2. Click the Gettings Started icon in the Options window
  3. Enter either your User Name (jdoe.companyname) or your email address in the Username field
  4. Type imap.bluetie.com in the Mail Server field
  5. Type smtp.bluetie.com in the SMTP Server field
  6. Click the Sending mail icon in the Options window
  7. Check the box for Allow authorization
  8. Click the SSL icon
  9. In the Secure Sockets Layer next to SSL for IMAP choose Required (TLS) from the drop down 
  10. In the Secure Sockets Layer next to SSL for SMTP choose Required (TLS) from the drop down 
  11. Click OK.
