Authentication Error when syncing for first time

If you receive this error  "Unable to authenticate. Please check your username and password in the settings." Please click on your DirectConnect settings in Outlook and confirm that the username and password are correct.

 

 

In my DirectConnect settings, my password does not appear to have the correct number of characters.

We have implemented this solution as an additional secuirity mesure within the application to prevent internal password hijacking.

Server Error in Outlook when starting DirectConnect sync.

If you receive the error "The DirectConnect server returned an error when DirectConnect was preparing to synchronize email. Please check the settings to verify that the server address and port number are correct. If this problem persists, please contact customer support." Please confirm the following server settings by clicking on the DirectConnect settings button within your Outlook client. The server settings are as follows:

IMAP Server: Imap.bluetie.com

Smtp Server: Smtp.bluetie.com
